It took quite sometime to realize I was in many ways stifling my own creativity
as a writer. First, I didn't realize I needed to come to terms with my own
identity as a writer, then I had to let go of the notion that I need to write to
serve opinions.

Early this year I took a Creative Writing class at CPCC, taught by Barbara Lawing. Not only was
it a great time, but I learned new ways approach the creative process and
that not every muse needs to end up in a lyric, or leave the confines of my studio.
